about our farm

Our family farm was purchased in 1947 by Natalie's grandparents, Elmer and Cora Chipman.  Natalie's dad and mom, Carl and Alice Chipman farmed the present farm for 45 plus years.  Natalie's husband, Tom and she watched over the cattle white Carl was unable to do so because of his failing health.  They fell in love with the excitement of the cows having their calves and feeding and working with the cows. 

And so Tom and Natalie now own and manage the farm.  They now raise the cattle by letting them graze on the farm while they use no pesticides or herbicides and no fertilizer other than the cattle's own manure.  So the cattle are raised organically which mean non GMO, no growth hormones, and entirely grass fed.  Our cows are happy, and so are we!

1/4, 1/2, OR FULL BEEF

$3.00/LB (Hanging WEIGHT)

What does this mean?  Our animals average 1,200- 1,300 pounds when fully grown and are ready for processing.  For example, a 1/4 beef would cost approximately $550-$600 not including the processing fees. 1/4 of a beef would yield 125-150 pounds of processed meat, depending on the customer's choice of cuts.
